AAUP TO DETERMINE IMPACT OF REORGANIZATION OF

RWJMS FACULTY PRACTICE PLAN

On November 30, 2010, the AAUP requested UMDNJ to provide it with information on the proposed operational and financial reorganization of your faculty practice plan.  The purpose of this request is provide you with important information so that you can to understand what impact this proposed reorganization will have on your salary, clinical workload, and other terms and conditions of your employment.

The AAUP believes you should understand the impact of the proposed modifications and that you have a say in and approval of any such modifications. After all, you generate the money and it is your practice plan.

The AAUP has yet to receive the information and expects to receive it by the end of December. We will keep you posted and will take all appropriate actions to ensure you have a say in and approval of any proposed modifications to your faculty practice plan.
