Re: Clarification on Ethics Acknowledgment of Receipt Form

I am writing to clarify my below communication regarding the submission of the Ethics Acknowledgement Form. My intent was to advise you not to sign only if you do not understand the provisions of the Uniform Ethics Code. Conversely, if you do understand the provisions of the Ethics Code, you should sign and submit the Acknowledgement Form.

I also want to advise you about and encourage you to review the proposed ethics regulations that will (we hope the near future) exempt faculty from some of the restrictions that are currently being imposed. UMDNJ and AAUP have been instrumental in advocating for these proposed modifications which we hope soon to be implemented changes.
